David Luning is a native of Forestville, California, who studied music at Berklee. After discovering songwriters such as John Prine, he returned to California to embark on a career as a touring musician. He recorded Restless with engineer/producer Karl Derfler, known for his work with Tom Waits and Dave Matthews, among many other artists.
