Jovon Bray, into a musically inclined family, Jo Vegas took what he
grew up learning from his father and uncles; and used that discipline,
patience and extreme learning capabilities to create a world of
competiveness in sports and music. What Jo was drawn to in both of these
fields was his freedom to express himself through contact and verbal
communication. Vegas aligned himself with childhood friends Lee Bannon
(Producer) and ODK (Rapper) who aggressively nurtured the talent Jo
Vegas holds to push his new brand of emcee, his ear for sound and to
build a movement within the hip hop/indie scene. Learning the anatomy of
music, its business and what it would take to be valuable asset in such
a dynamic industry.
